Delicatessen

Square One Bistro is a Fine Foods delicatessen & bistro offering a mouth watering array delicatessen fare. Within the store you will find a substantially stocked charcuterie and cheese counter and a delicious range of home made cakes and pastries waiting for you in the patisserie counter. Award winning handmade preserves and chutney’s adorn the shelves, with old fashioned sweets in jars to take you back down memory lane. The shop prides itself in their speciality of providing an extensive range of Belgian Chocolates supplied by some of Belgium’s finest artisan chocolate makers. Ground coffees & teas from around the world, hand baked biscuits and double cream ice cream gives you a taste of something special.

Hampers & Gifts

Square One Bistro has its very own brand of exclusive gifts, many being made on the premises. The range offered is extensive, covering beautifully wrapped and decorated chocolate boxes in various sizes and a large range of gift hampers to suit all budgets. Many more confectionery gift ideas are always available so you can be certain of finding that special and unique present.

Luxury Belgian Chocolates

We pride ourselves with our excellence in providing you with a mouth watering, tantalizing display of luxury Belgian chocolates carefully chosen and supplied by some of Belgium’s finest artisan chocolate makers. There are over 40 different chocolates in our counter, all with a wealth of exciting flavours waiting for you to discover.

Bistro Dining

In the Bistro a tempting menu awaits you to provide both you and your friends with refreshments. The meals are created from the delicious deli fayre and made to order for total freshness. Enjoy a drink and a light snack or a more filling main meal. You can also relax and take it easy by enjoying the alfresco dining during the summer months.


The Store

The business was founded in 1999 and is owned by Ray Fudge and his wife Vanessa Challis. A 16th century cruck cottage is the home for Peppercorn Cottage and it is situated in the heart of the country side of Leicestershire & Warwickshire and centrally placed in the cobbled square within the beautiful historic town of Market Bosworth.

Ray & Vanessa both worked hard to convert the cottage and ensured that it was done in complete sympathy with the building and its lovely surroundings. Vanessa is responsible for the very diverse stock range and also the producer of all the wonderful gifts, hampers and delicious home baking. Ray is the behind the scenes accounting manager. Their son Kev manages the IT sales and Trish, another close family member provides you with wholesome cooking and a friendly smile behind the counter. All are very active in looking after their customers within the shop.

You can be assured of a warm welcome from Vanessa & Ray along with their strong family team members at all times.
